Heat Exchanger with advanced Functionality

The heat exchanger on Armstrong Gas Furnace is made from stainless steel for maximum strength and crimped, rather than welded, to ensure that they are highly resistant to thermal fatigue and other stresses caused by repeated heating and cooling. These heat exchangers have also been extensively tested to temperatures that far exceed normal operating ranges to ensure durability.

Quiet Combustion™ Patented Technology

Armstrong Air gas furnaces enjoys Quiet Combustion™ Technology which enables the furnace to run without any sound. This is made possible by using a smaller Btu input on every burner for quieter start-up and operation while providing more even heat distribution.
